Principal Manager, Medical Writing

Caroline Drucker, PhD., RAC, has 10 years of combined scientific expertise with strong communication and organizational skills. Her career includes more than 7 years of regulatory medical writing, 5 years of academic/technical writing and editing, and more than 9 years of basic biomedical research.

At Syner-G, Caroline provides medical writing and project management activities relating to the clinical development of investigational and marketed drugs and biologics. She authors regulatory submission documents, including clinical protocols, CSRs (Phase I-IV), safety narratives, IBs, INDs, NDA components, FDA meeting briefing documents, responses to agency questions, orphan drug designation applications, and other document types. She also manages and develops Syner-G Medical Writing team members and ensures resourcing maximizes their career development goals and company objectives.

Before joining Syner-G, Caroline was a Research Project Manager for the Duke Center for Human Disease Modeling, supervising various forms of communication within and outside the genetic disease research unit. She has also worked as Executive Editor of Natural History Magazine for which she has written, selected, and edited articles for a general audience.

Caroline graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude, in Psychology and Mathematics. She holds a PhD. in neurobiology from Duke University. She earned the Regulatory Affairs Certification from the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society.
