Kasturi Puranam, PhD is Senior Manager of Medical Writing at Syner-G with over nine years of regulatory writing experience spanning protocols, clinical study reports, investigator brochures, IND/NDA Module 2 summaries, briefing documents, safety narratives, and IND safety reports. She also contributes to IND and NDA project management while managing and mentoring clinical research scientists and medical writers. With 20 years of academic research and three years in biotech, her expertise covers neurology, oncology, pharmacology, respiratory, rare, and autoimmune diseases. Prior to Syner-G, Dr. Puranam held research positions at UNC Chapel Hill, Duke Medical Center, Cogent Neuroscience, and Caltech, and has been recognized with awards from the Huntington’s Disease Society of America, the American Heart Association, and Duke University.
